Breck's Fall 2021 catalog
The fall 2021 Breck’s catalog features many new bulb varieties. These include the following.

Goose Green daffodil is a small cup daffodil. Flowering is from mid to late season. This award winning variety is 1 1/3 feet in height.

This daffodil is richly scented. The very reliable plant was released in 1983 and originated in Ireland. The white petals are glossy. The ruffled yellow cup has a green eye and red rim.

Silver Chimes daffodil is a tazetta variety that reaches 1 ½ feet in height. This award winning heirloom dates to 1914 or so. This has eight to ten blooms per stem. It features silvery white petals. When the cup opens, it is yellow and becomes lighter colored with age.

Bernice’s Legacy iris is typically a rebloomer in most areas. This reaches nearly three feet in height. The rich red, velvety blooms have touches of yellow along with a golden bronze beard.

Cool Flame daffodil is a large cup variety. It is highly recommended for cut flowers. The plant grows to 1 1/3 feet in height. This is a reliable, mid season variety. The non fading blooms have coral pink cups and pure white petals.

Amberglow Triumph tulip is 1 ½ feet in height. This award winning variety bears beautiful scented blooms. The newly opened flowers have an amber yellow base, but over time it ages to a dark garnet red adorned with plum. The exact depth and pattern of the coloring can be variable. In the sun, the flower just seems ablaze.

Fellows Favorite large cup daffodil was released by Brent Heath. This hybrid is early flowering, typically in April. The plant grows to 1 1/3 feet in height. The scented blossoms are initially yellow green, and later change to orange-yellow with a white band at the base.

Valdivia tulip is an award winning variety. It is recommended for zones three through eight. The plant is a foot in height.

The very double six inch wide blooms hardly resemble a standard daffodil because this has a very high petal count, which is unusual for a daffodil. The multi colored flowers are yellow orange and red with no two flowers being identical.

Curly daffodil is a mid spring variety. It grows to 1 ½ feet in height. The snow white petals surround a very frilled, curled yellow cup. This creates the effect of being double.

Habit bearded iris is nearly three feet in height. The flowers have a wonderful sweet scent. The multi-colored blooms are mostly purple-black with pale blue adorned with rich golden beards.

Other new varieties for fall 2021 include Kapiti Peach daffodil, hardy Cherry Blossom gladiolus mix, Jacuzzi tulip, Librije tulip, Love is All Around bearded iris, and Overjoyed bearded iris.
